Thanks for checking out Northside. We look forward to having you join us. Choosing to step into a new place can feel a little uncomfortable. In order to make you feel at home, below will give you some highlights of what to expect when you arrive. You can click here to for our location and contact information.

Service:

Begins at 10:30 and typically ends by 11:30. When you first walk in through the only main double doors, you’ll be greeted by one of our great volunteers, coat racks just ahead and then you’re welcome to go into the auditorium. The atmosphere and the people are cheerful and down to earth.

Parking

We have plenty of onsite parking available. We also have accessible spaces next to a second entrance that’s also wheelchair-accessible.

Dress

We don’t have an official dress code, so feel free to come in something comfortable. Most people tend to wear anything from jeans up to a suit and tie.

Music

Our week can be filled with all kinds of stresses and challenges. Singing gives us that space to focus back on God and experience His peace, joy, hope and love. You can expect a band with instruments such as keyboard, drums, piano and electric or acoustic guitar. The words are projected on the screen up front and you are welcome to join in on the singing or just focus on the words.

Message

Messages are Biblically-Based, engaging, relevant and challenges us to  consider how it ought to be applied in our lives for the purpose of bringing us closer to Jesus and His will for us.

Children (0-10)

We have two dedicated rooms (nursery and a toddler space) on the main floor just past the foyer. In addition, we have more creative and fun space for your older children (ages 6-10) downstairs. Register your children when you first enter in. Their program lasts for the length of the service. They will be well cared so you can focus on every aspect of the service and build community by meeting friends and new people.

Social

After the service, at this time, we ask you to gather outside and enjoy connecting. If you have any questions, feel free to email Pastor (Steve Boctor) at sboctor @ northsidecommunitychurch.ca
